You are pregnant, huge congratulations! I know this can be a time of joy, elation, stress, anxiety, and a load of unexpected symptoms. That’s why I’m here to gently guide you through, reassure you, relax you and help in a safe way with common issues like reflux, poor sleep, and back ache. I can also tell you what’s safe to eat or to avoid so you don’t need to spend all your life on Google!

You’ve had the two blue lines, massive congratulations!!! So exciting and also worrying. I know I questioned basically every twinge I felt until my first scan – the longest 13 weeks of my life! But that’s why I’m so glad you are here. Eating well and feeling good is so important in pregnancy for both baby and mummy. Especially in the first trimester as your baby develops from a microscopic egg into a little, but fully formed baby.  Which is also why you feel so exhausted!  But the information around it all can be confusing and overwhelming so I help to take some of those worries away.

Our sessions are ideally face to face at my Monday clinic space, but we can also work on zoom. They are always 55 minutes long.

The first session is just information gathering so everything I recommend is safe and the best option for you.

The second session ideally a week later is nutrition advice based on how/what/when you eat and optimizing certain nutrients to best support your body and your growing baby.

The third session is a week or two later and is a mix of nutrition support and gentle body work depending on what’s best for you.  I am safe to give you reflexology from day 1 of pregnancy if you want it and I’m also trained in pregnancy massage.  If we are working on Zoom I can teach you some hand reflexology to do at home.

The fourth session three to four weeks later is a continuation of the above.

The timeline is flexible depending on what week of your pregnancy you book in with me and we can also add sessions on if more are needed.

Welcome to the second trimester of pregnancy!  Your energy levels will start to return, hopefully any morning sickness is beginning to ease and you are feeling more like you again. As your baby is now basically all developed and fully formed, your nutritional needs once again change to support your baby grow in size… but don’t you worry!  I am here to help and take the stress of it all away.

The focus of this package is bespoke, personalised nutrition advice alongside safe herbal tea suggestions, essential oil advice and lifestyle tips to make you and baby as comfortable and healthy as possible.  If you come to see me face to face at my Monday clinic, I will also give you reflexology to make you feel happy and relaxed.  If we work on Zoom I will teach you some hand reflexology to do at home.

2nd trimester with The family naturopath

And you’ve made it to the third trimester!!  I know this part can seem like it goes on forever but before you know it, you will be holding your baby in your arms, and you won’t believe how fast your pregnancy went.

This trimester is all about helping your baby fatten up as it gets ready to enter the world, so your nutritional needs also change a bit.  But don’t worry, I will guide you through that and help with any other symptoms you are experiencing.  Hello back pain, pelvic pain, interrupted sleep, heartburn etc.  But also, if you aren’t there yet don’t panic that you will experience all of this!  Not everyone does.

The second session ideally a week later is nutrition advice based on how/what/when you eat and optimizing certain nutrients to best support your body and your growing baby.

The Natural Starter Bump to 4 Months Online Course

Being pregnant and having a newborn comes with a whole host of questions, worries and a million hours of Googling things at stupid o’clock in the morning.  Because of this, I have created The Natural Starter Bump to 4 months to help you have a happy and healthy pregnancy and baby.

The first-trimester course is free as I know I didn’t want to spend any money (other than on prenatal supplements) until I had that first scan (the longest 13 weeks of my life), so I don’t expect you to either.  The third and fourth trimesters are covered under a separate course (£250), as is the fourth trimester (£250) where I cover helpful tips for your baby including sleep and colic, as well as ways for you to recover from the birth.
