Description
My focus with this package is to help you during the first 6 weeks which can be the most worrying for new parents. My aim it to calm and reassure you and teach you about how your baby sees the world so you realise that everything they do, is normal and what a newborn should be doing! We are sold a lie so we buy all sorts of things for our children and expect babies to behave, well, like adults. And they don’t.
This is a 15 hour package made up of a pregnancy planning session and 6 weekly home visits (postcode depending) to help you adjust to being new parents. Even if this isn’t your first baby, they are each unique and how things went with one is often very different to the next!
The first session (2 hours) ideally happens in your third trimester face to face or on zoom to get an understanding of you and how you want to parent. Of course if you don’t know, that’s not a problem in the slightest! I will ask you about where you think your baby will sleep, breastfeeding aims, who will be around to help you (if anyone), how supported your feel by your midwifery team and more.
